TST Go Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

TST Go is a location simulator made by That Simple Tech. This policy describes what the Android app and the companion web app do with information.

What we collect

We do not create accounts. We do not run ads. We do not sell data.

• Favorite places and last pin are stored only on your device.
• If you allow location, the app uses it to show your real position or to broadcast a simulated position to other apps you choose.
• Search queries are sent to public map services (OpenStreetMap Nominatim and Photon) to find places. Those services see the text you type and a generic app identifier.
• Map tiles are loaded from Esri’s public tile servers.

What we do not collect

No name, email, payment, contacts, photos, or advertising ID. No analytics SDK. No crash reporter.

Mock location

Broadcasting a simulated GPS signal only works after you pick TST Go as the mock location app in Android Developer options. Other apps then receive that location from the Android system. We do not send that location to That Simple Tech.

Children

TST Go is not directed at children under 13.
